Spider hunting wasp

I waited for about an hour watching a number of these chaps at The Lodge. They were very accommodating, but spent most of their time digging underground. This is the most interesting clip I got. I guess/presume it's Anoplius viaticus, but I could be very, very wrong!

Nice to have video on the blog. Wasps reward time spent watching. Looks right to me for Anoplius viaticus - I think the orange panels on the gaster are diagnostic. It overwinters as an adult female so is one of the first active in the spring.
